Bruce 'Skip' Eklom
Bruce 'Skip' Eklom

In May 2008, Skip’s goal was to ride across America with his mates to “THE WALL” in Washington DC. Then back again to the west coast to return to Australia. A trip of 20,000 miles in the company of his mates.

He saw this as the trip of a life time. One to remember and reminisce in his later years. Unfortunately, fate took control, as it does so many times in ones life. Skip is now a quadriplegic currently on life support in Bakersfield CA.

Skip could really use your help right now. To read his story and to donate to the Trust Fund which the members of the VVMC - Queensland Chapter have set up, please click on the following link:

Please Note: Updates will be added to the end of this story as they come to hand.

Hello and Welcome to the Vietnam Veterans MC - Queensland Chapter's Website. We hope you enjoy your stay with us. If you are simply visiting our site, would you mind signing our guest book? We really like to know who is dropping in, and what you think of our site.

Vietnam Veterans MC - AustraliaFor our members, we have many interesting things for you to do. You may check on news from other sites around the world by clicking on the News Feeds link and selecting a subject. At present there are few RSS newsfeeds available, but with your help we will increase the number of feeds available and diversify the subjects to cover your interests, no matter what they may be.

If you have a particular news feed that you would like added to our site, then please let the Webmaster know so that he may publish the necessary links for you.

We also have a notice board where you may leave messages for all registered members to see. For Club Members, we have a private messaging system at your disposal, should you need to leave a private message to another Club Member. These messages are quite secure and viewable only by the intended recipients.

Club Members are also allowed to post their own news items and stories of interest. Check the FAQ's area in the coming weeks for some video tutorials on how to use the site to post your stories.

And don't forget to check out the photo gallery. Many pictures from past events have been returned to the gallery. Sadly, though, the comments that were posted along with the photos have been lost. However, you are free to post new comments if you like.

For Visitors wishing to know more about the Vietnam Veterans MC, please check the FAQ's area or send an email to the Site Administrator. He will be only to glad to help.
